United Trade Union of the “AWSC” CJSC

The Trade Union was established based on Resolution of Foundation Meeting held in June 27, 2003.

It is registered with the RA Ministry of Justice as a legal entity in August 14, 2003 (registration number 211 190 01946).

Based on Foundation meetings Trade Unions were set up in four branches included in the composition of the United Trade Unions.

The Trade Unions pursues its activities in compliance with the requirements of Republic Armenia legal acts. Everyday activities of the company are carried out based on the Collective Contract signed with the management of the Company.

The works that have been already fulfilled and should be fulfilled are directed at improvement of work conditions of employees, their welfare, changes of performance indicators and moral and psychological atmosphere for the better.

It is already the second year that summer holidays of the children are organized free of charge in “Lusabats” summer camp of Hankavan in 2005 and in “Gugark” camp of “Vahagnadzor” in 2006 for 60 children.

Every year in the beginning of school season more than thousand children of needy families with small remuneration are provided with stationary.

One of the important preconditions of activities is the organization of sport and cultural activities. Football team of the Company participated in several republican championships and won prizes.

It becomes already a tradition to celebrate some national holidays in the company (Army day, Women’s Day, New Year), organize events for paying tribute to the work veterans; provide pecuniary aid to needy families, as well as in case of accidents.
